Concepts

At the TV&MEDIA event on January 16, 2025, psychologist Satu Lähteenkorva presented the concepts that are also used in the antenni initiative: the rule of three Ts, the rule of three Ps, brain ergonomics and the term kanssalainen (fellow).
There is a rule of three Ts associated with change and the growth phase situation:
-
Recognise (Tunnista) – identifying and recognising an issue
-
Acknowledge (Tunnusta) – acknowledging the recognised issue, but acknowledging hurts because you have to admit the recognized thing.
-
Action (Toimi)– acknowledgement is followed by action, which creates hope (Toivo).
The audiovisual field is a brain-ergonomically challenging environment because the brain loves order and predictability. The goal of brain ergonomics is to take into account the normal functions and limitations of brain functions to avoid unnecessary and harmful brain load.

The rule of the three Ps is related to growth and learning, because "paradoxically, the prerequisite for all growth and learning is stopping, because only then can you see something clearly", as Satu has stated.
-
Stop (Pysäkki)
-
Perspective (Perspektiivi)
-
Push (Patistelu)
The term kanssalainen (fellow) describes a person with whom one experiences and does something authentic and meaningful, experiencing togetherness.
